Family, Society, and Isolation: Themes in “Frankenstein”

According to the test, the murder, tragedy and despair occur because of a lack of connection to either family or society.

When the persons becomes isolated they might turn vengeful not because it’s evil, because fills it with overwhelming hate and anger.

Humans does need contact with others of the same kind.

How long do you think someone could remain without some sort of human contact? I think people can remain as long as they want, but this can actually drive them crazy

Could this cause hatred or fear?  I doni think so, given that they might be obercoming they’re fears this way

How long could YOU remain isolated from family and friends? I dont think I can remain isolated for more than a day

How would you feel? Lonely, empty, scared

Listening comprehension – CNN

Most teens find what is happening around the world through a meme. Where PBSO says it’s bad because it has a lack of information, which is true. But when you go to the comments or the caption, The Admin or people usually explain, so it is not like teens are misinformed. It’s just the easiest way to be conscious without overthinking the information that much. Because at the end, it’s their way to express “hey this is bad” without letting too many feelings out. And if I’m honest a lot of my friend know about the differents things that happen thru social media (tiktok, twitter, instagram), and that’s okay, because the betty of social media its that you don’t see just one opinion about that topic, you see the same topic but with the opinion of other.“[Memes] are a valuable tool not only for young people but also for national security practitioners.” Where the last sentences confirm what I’m saying. Despite all the critics we all know that without memes teens would not have created interest for news. Because newspapers always write their things just to inform, they don’t put that much enthusiasm into their writings, so sometimes it’s kinda hard to read newspapers. However, memes are short, go direct to the point and there is always a brief explanation. Thought that Jamie Withorne shared with me.

The Crucible and “Bad news becomes hysteria in crowds, new research shows”

Professor Thomas Hills from the University of Warwick’s Department of Psychology, commented
“It also shows that the more people share information, the further that information gets from the facts and the more resilient it becomes to correction.”
Professor Thomas Hills said that people it’s constantly sharing news that are based on other opinion. Which made that people uniform and think that the world is in hysteria, when in real isn’t. It’s just people making the news much bigger that their actually are.
That’s why people need to get themselves inform before give a opinion of a topic. That’s why when you are/were in school teacher said to you “search for information before you do your work”. It’s because social media, and some people just have others opinion not the real information of what is happening.
Just like the famous Arthur Miller, he wrote about real problemas that’s was happening on his era. And while he wrote his play he also show the world how people can make a change and how important is to care about it and be well inform.
For example, when we were on the pandemic of covid-19 news were very contradicted. They didn’t know how much people were dying or what was the condition of the hospitals. That’s why you need to do your own research to formulate your own opinions to explain it to others.
